Midnight

Kesköö. Siin on teine katse teha helmepõimingut ümber klaasitüki. Seekord kasutasin ainult 11/0 suurusega TOHO seemnehelmeid (värvid must ja hematiit). Esimene kord oli kasutatud seemnehelmeste valik suurem ja klaas teist värvi. Ovaalne klaas on puhast sügavsinist värvi, millel peal pärlmutrine viimistlus. Kui valgus langeb pealmise läike peale, muudab see klaasi peegliks (vt esimene pilt), kui aga valgus läheb klaasist läbi ja peegeldub tagumisel kihil, tuleb esile müstiline sinine helk (vt teine pilt). Sellest tuleb kaelakee ripats :)

This is my second attempt to bead around a cabochon. This time I used 11/0 TOHO seedbeads only (colors black and hematite). First time I used larger variety of beads and cabochon was greenish. This time oval cabochon is in a color of deep blue with luster finish. If light reflects on the upper side, it turns into a mirror (look at the first picture) and if light goes through the glass and reflects on the back side, it brings out this gorgeous bluish glow (see the second picture). This cabochon will became a pendant for a necklace :)
