Taastasin roosikrantsi. Tuli välja, et kõik helmed on olemas. Midagi juurde ei pannud, ära võtsin prossi, kinnise, pärlmutrist helme, ühendusrõngaid ja ühe medaljoni.
The assemblage necklace from previous post was made using a rosary from late 1800's or early 1900's that consisted of absolutely scarce beads from saphiret glass. The info about saphiret glass says that it was made mixing gold with blue glass and because of the high cost of the materials the manufacturing of it was ceased. That is the reason this glass and jewelry with it is rare and surprisingly highly priced. The intensity of the color can tell if the glass is original saphiret or later made saphirine glass.
I restored the rosary. It turned out that all of the beads were there. I didn't add anything, but took away a brooch, toggle-clasp, MOP bead, some rings and a medallion.
