Beige August

Ega no muidugi, pean ma asju ikka omamoodi tegema :) ja sedasi see kaelakee ripats tekkiski :D Aitäh, Kreet!

This necklace is made as part of the color Spectrum in isetegija.net. I haven't shown my blue July in this blog, but this because I'm just not able to photograph it :( I'm having trouble with it...
But the story of this necklace is quite inetersting :P Remember the Jewellery Competition? And that I linked to my favourite pieces? Among others I liked this and wondered how this was made ;) Well, the author of this necklace Kreet/Krets emailed me and shared her knowledge! She got the inspiration to make those motifs from the Quarterfoil tutorial of Eni Oken. So she made her own version and added her motifs to her competition work. I asked permission to use her version and start making this necklace in this morning. But ofcourse I have to make it a bit different :)
Here are 6x8mm milky faceted glass donuts and TOHO seedbeads 8/0, 11/0 and bugle beads. Adding some metal beads, links and wire.

Fimo beads

Mirjam/Hilisaed saatis mulle omatehtud imeilusaid fimo helmeid. Tükk aega veeretasin neid näpu vahel, no neid võibki imetlema jääda!
See komplekt on müüdud.

Mirjam/Hilisaed sent me some of her fimo beads. I must say, you can stop looking at those colors! I often found difficult to use somebodys polymer beads. There's so much time and effort put in them, they should be on first place in every piece of jewellery! This means that there should'nt be any unnecessary tiny pretty details, that I find hard to avoid while making my jewellery... So I set my goal to make something simple. Those fimo beads are with white-beige background while different colors swirl through - I'm telling you these beads hypnotize. Still too much details perhaps...
This set is sold.

Necklaces continues...

Teisel kaelakeel on imeilusat värvi kandiline kivi (princess baguette) - padparadscha - koos mustade kividega. Ja see armas 2mm musta värvi kristallike seal üleval on saadud Terje/Jõhvika käest.
Teine kee on müüdud.

Yesterday I made two necklaces :) Actually I wanted to make a fan-shaped pendant, but I guess I'll try again another time. This time it looks like those pendants remind something winged :D First I made that amethyst and crystal colored necklace, those long stones are 15x4mm navettes. The second necklace has a baguette stone in beautiful color - padparadscha - with jet navette stones. An that cute 2mm black bicone crystal up there I got from Terje/Jõhvikas
Second necklace is sold..

Porcelain

Kaunid portselanhelmed, mis hankisin Hiinast. Kuna nad on päris suured, ei osanud nendega pikka aega midagi peale hakata. Niisama muudkui imetlesin :) Kogu kaelakee värvigamma on tuletatud portselanhelme maalingutest. Kaelakee on parajalt pikk, kinnitust polnud vajagi. Kee on müüdud.

Beautiful porcelain beads that I got from China. Since those beads are quite big, I didn't know what exactly to do with them for some time. So every once in a while I just took them out of a box and admired them :) The whole colorcombo of this necklace is taken from the paintings of the porcelain beads. Old rose, beige and creamy white. The big round pendant is made of shell and fits perfectly with the rest of the necklace because of the same creamy white color. Necklace is long so it didn't need a clasp. This necklace is sold.

Aurora Borealis and Blue

Tegin tutvust swarovski kivitüübiga, millel nimi elongated oval. Antud variant on 21x7mm suur.

I made my acquaintance with swarovski stone named elongated oval. This on is in size 21x7mm. The color is crystal and surface is coated with aurora borealis (AB). Pendant is attached to blue ribbon and also to chain. It is because I suspected the ribbon ends not to be strong enough. And then, and then (!) I used glue!!! Yes, I put glue on the ribbon ends and I didn't mess it up :D (only a bit...). And still, just in case, I added a chain that was a bit shorter than the ribbons and so all the weight goes on the chain. I also made a modest bracelet to go with the necklace.

Necklace with crystal and opal rose

Edit: Tänan kõiki, kes juba kommenteerisid. No kuidagi ei suutnud siia miskit kirjutada. Aga vbl nüüd tuleb välja :) See kee sai idee Miriam Haskelli töödest, mida Mirjam/Hilisaed mulle soovitas vaadata :) Jube kenad on need Haskelli ehted küll, iseasi, kui kantavad need tänapäeval on?

Edit: Thank you all who already commented. I just coulnd't find anything to write here when I posted these pictures. Perhaps I can now :) I got the idea for this necklace from the jewellery of Miriam Haskell. Mirjam/Hilisaed wrote I should check it out :) So pretty endeed those Haskell jewellery, though I don't know if people would wear this kind on jewellery?

Silver & Iolite

Edit: uued pildid.

Last weekend I visited zip. Oh... and I was late and so nervous. I was nervous, because I thought everybody is already together and started with silver soldering! Only one I knew from the invited was Lucy and we met near zip's home. And then we saw that we were the only ones there :) Oh, it was exciting! We could check out the blowtorch and make ballpins with it. From silver and copper wire. Zip kindly shared her knowledge about working with blowtorch and how to fill it. And then she showed us how to solder with a solder paste.

I still think how great this event was... When I got home I made a pair of earrings from the ballpins I made MYself. Silver and iolite. Edit: new photos.

Something sweet... again

Ma ütlen ausalt, mulle tundub, et tammun ühe koha peal... Tahaks teha midagi uut ja huvitavat... Olen swarovskite lõksus, no see bling on ikka kütkestav :) Aga jah, tahaks midagi muud teha.

I'll be honest and say I feel like I'm stuck in one place... I want to do something new and interesting... I'm trapped in the bling of swarovskies :) But still, I'd like to make something new. Right now I got this empty feeling that haunts me time after time - seeking for something I don't have a single clue about, but it's definately not what I'm working on at the moment (I've got a lots of unfinished projects by now), it seems I got no time, but then again, it seems I don't know how to use time at all... and I feel empty. To fill this emptiness I tried to bead. Two necklaces with amethyst colored swarovski stones...

Stamp

Vot selline näeb see löögiraud või tempel välja. Tellisin selle Tartust. Need metallist "lipikud", millele märgi löön, on tellitud hea inimese kaudu USAst ;)

This is the stamp I use. I ordered this from Tartu. Those metal tags are ordered from USA with a help from a nice person ;)
I still need to practice this stamping, there were some tags that went really wrong.

Aurora Borealis

Aeg lippab kuidagi pöörase kiirusega ning blogi postituste kirjutamisest saan ainult vahetevahel mõelda. Kujutamatu, kuid olen peaaegu nädal aega arvutist eemal olnud. Puhkus on läbi...

Üks kaelakee (hmmm, viimasel ajal ainult neid teengi...)

Time goes so fast and thinking about writing here has stayed in form of thoughts. Unbelivable but I haven't used computer for a week. Holidays are over...

One necklace (hmmm, I make only necklaces lately...) with AB crystal swarovskies. Yes, still working with swarovskies. But there's something exciting that I haven't still wrote about, well now I have a custom made stamp that I use to identify my jewellery :)

Superb

Keskel on ümmargune kivi erinite.

Little trip with almost no planning at all to Haapsalu was superb! I usually don't like to travel alone but this time going by bus was enjoyable and for my subjective sense of time it felt like a nice moment to let thoughts to fly their own way :) I'm not going to write all about it because I know I'll go sentimental and all... Everything was as great as possible and nothing could be better than it was.
A necklace. If there's a name for it, it shall be a Northen Star. Swarovski navettes in two colors: indicolite and sea opal. In the middle there is a erinite-colored stone. Some copper beads and those palish beads are from glass :)
