Dark Red Pendant on Ribbon

Today we'll look more closely at one of the special pieces from mdmButiik shop. It's not very common to add ribbons in jewelry for me... This one is a pendant that comes with a ribbon but can be separated and worn with a chain or attach with a pin on a piece of clothing. This dark red pendant on ribbon has two parts both covered in sparkly rhinestones!

I'm thinking it can be attached to a hairdo as well with a hair pin - imagine it sparkle! Dark red pendant can be worn around the neck like a collar to get that historical look but also on a long chain as well. This pendant has a contemporary ribbon in length that allows to wear it around the neck. We used vintage and new glass and crystal rhinestones in garnet red color.  Glass beads are vintage from Czechoslovakia!

Vintage Style Rhinestone Jewellery

Sometimes I just like to appreciate the sparkle that rhinestones bring! And the inspiration! Specially vintage rhinestones. There's something about the old packages and envelopes that shield the crystal glass... All the cuts and colors, many that are not made anymore.

Lucky Emerald Necklace

This is Lucky Emerald necklace. It has a centerpiece with three parts. Crescent shaped upper part has an emerald green octagon in the middle, accompanied with sparkly rhinestones and pearls. Second part has a pointed hexagon in center with pearls and crystals arranged in symmetrical design. The last part is a vintage handmade glass bead that has a rich green color and baroque shape, topped with fancy cap adorned with rhinestones and pearls.
Lucky Emerald necklace has three rows of vintage glass pearls that vary in shape just like they were natural. They have gorgeous luster finish and show some signs of age. Box clasp is hidden under filigree plate that is covered with beads, pearls and rhinestones.

Vintage Style Necklace In Making

Here are photos of the vintage style necklace coming together. I searched high and low for the right bow. Found one but it was only in one size. I needed two sizes to use with big and medium motif. So, I cut two bows in pieces and joined them together to create a bigger one :)

The big motif became a center pendant with extra rhinestones
and the bow I created from two bows.

It's quite huge don't you think?

Here you can see the difference of the bows.
Siin on pilte vintage stiilis kaelakee protsessist.

Gorgeous Tassel Necklaces

Here is a new line of tassel necklaces that I just recently finished. Beaded with old beads from France and Czechoslovakia, strung on fine chain. In medium length 41-42cm, with extra 7cm long tassel that drapes perfectly!

Took a lot of details to put the crystals and beads on the tassel cap, but it was really worth it. I need sparkle :) These are truly fun to wear! I'm going to wait a bit to see if what color I want mine to be. It's decided, I'll make one for myself.

Siin on uus sari kaelakeesid, mis valmisid hiljuti. Vanad helmed Prantsusmaalt ja Tšehhoslovakkiast on lükitud peene keti peale. Keskmise pikkusega (41-42cm) kaelakee, umbes 7cm lisaks ripatsit, drapeerub kaunilt!

Rohkem aega kulus ripatsi helmeste ja kristallidega kaunistamisele, kuid see tasus end kuhjaga ära! Ma vajan sädelust :) Selline kaelakee on puhas lust kanda! Ma ootan pisut ja vaatan, millist värvi ma endale sooviks. Olen otsustanud, et teen ühe endale.

Sweet Pink Brooch with Vintage Pearls and Nailhead Beads

It took awhile until I came up with an idea for these vintage pink beads. I added some bronze metallic colored seed-beads and of-course, Swarovski crystals. The brooch has a round shape, the outer circle has unique leaf-shaped nailhead-beads with round pearls and Swarovski crystal rhinestones while the inner circle has thin rice-shaped peads that create a delicate flower. There are a row of small pearl dangles that add movement. This brooch can also be worn as a pendant.

Võttis aega, mis võttis, aga lõpuks tuli idee, mida nende vintage helmestega teha. Ma lisasin pronksivärvi seemnehelmeid ning loomulikult Swarovski kristalle. Pross on ümmarguse kujuga, välisringis on haruldase lehekujuga "nailhead"-helmed ümmarguste pärlite ja Swarovski kristalliklaasist ehtekividega, siseringis moodustavad peenikesed riisikujulised pärlid õrna lille. Prossil on rivi väikesed pärli-ripatseid, mis lisab liikumist. Seda prossi saab kanda ka ripatsina.

Bermuda Blue Crystal Heart Necklace

This is a custom order similar to the pink necklace. This time I used Bermuda Blue Swarovski crystal and some different blue rhinestones (mostly Swarovski, and some Preciosa). I used lighter glass pearls here.

Heart of the Ocean necklace Swarovski designer handmade
Bermuda Blue is a finish that is applied on the back of crystal clear rhinestone.
This finish differs a bit when looking different suppliers (Swarovski, Preciosa,
and other companies specialized in crystal coating). This Swarovski (article 4827) heart
has gorgeous array of different blues with
a light hint of purple when looking from the side.

and Preciosa rhinestones in Bermuda Blue and Capri Blue.

The size of the crystal heart is awesome!!! Measuring 27mm.

See siin on tellimustöö, mis sai alguse sellest roosast keest. Seekord kasutasin Swarovski Bermuda Blue südamekujulist kristalli ning erinevaid siniseid ehtekive (enamus Swarovski, mõned Preciosa). Kasutasin heledamaid pärleid.

Siin on esimene ehe, mis valmis uutest Tšehhi klaaspärlitest. Pikk kaelakee, millel lisaks barokse pinnaga vintage tilk! Hetkel asub see Les Petitese Müürivahe poes.

All Ready!

See oli hea käeharjutus, kus pidasin meeles Etsy Mentor Month'i eesmärke. Neid ehteid suudan taas-teha enamvähem samasuguseda - nagu tõestas kõrvarõngapaaride tegemine ;)

Thank you all who commented last post in this blog and in FB. I decided to try all the possibilities. I needed to make some some half-done motifs. And here are the results: ring, brooch, hair clip, necklace pendant, bracelet, earrings (lever-backs and post type).

This proved to be a good way to accomplish my Etsy Mentor Month's goal of trying to make a series of items that I can re-make. The earrings came out pretty similar didn't they :)

Going Classic with Turquoise & Pearl

Once I rearranged my rhinestone drawers and found myself staring at oval glass vintage buttons. I've been taking them out and putting them back in package numerous times... Really wanted to include them in a piece of jewelry but just didn't come up with anything.
I've noticed that the stones that I most use in my jewelry are crystal colored tiny ones. How do I know? Well, I have emptied two packages. One package should contain 1440pcs, but since older packages are not sealed (can't be closed with sticker ribbon) then I can't be sure if there were 1440pcs when I got the package, and there's no wish to count them either ;)
Since I use a lot of crystal colored rhinestones I thought that this time I'd avoid them. And take turquoise colored Swarovski stones instead.
