I was wondering... what type of jewellery people love? Many love earrings, some like brooches. And then there are those who don't like brooches at all. Some wear only necklaces.
I discovered that I have made mostly earrings. And the holder of second place is brooches! Many use brooches as a pendant to beaded necklace chain. Have you tried it? Using jewel tone like sapphire blue made me think of my previous pieces I made in emerald green. Over the time I have made many. So here is a little group photo of the brooches in emerald green. These Emerald Green rhinestone brooches are in the shop under single listing but are made in different times and hve such different designs and stories.
Jewel tone like emerald green has this royal effect. Especially combined with sparkly rhinestones and pearls! The leaf in the front brooch is actually made from uranium glass and ti glows under UV-light. The long rectangular stone in the brooch on the right is usually called baguette :) and has stones in light grey around it. The brooch on the left with octagonal stone in the middle has the most pearls. And the brooch on the back has the most rhinestones, inspired by historical jewellery. I'm still thinking about this feminine and sweet necklace! Baroque pearls, vintage rhinestones and sapphire blue color.

This design has travelled to UK, US and Japan, Estonia as well... Earrings hang from sterling silver or are attached base metal studs (choose your option). All of the rhinestones are attached one by one with thin wire. Size: plate is 16mm in diameter.
Whant to know what I made out of the materials I showed you previously? These multicolor rhinestone earrings in vintage style combine an array of vintage and new materials. Vintage deep purple glass drops from Japan, green "English cut" beads and vintage yellow moonstone glass leaves from Czechoslovakia, new crystal glass rhinestones in pink and blue from Austria (Swarovski), vintage glass pearls from France and antique cut steel micro beads. All stitched together to new filigree plates with wire.
These Multicolor earrings in vintage style are available in mdmButiik.com jewellery shop. Earrings have Sterling silver leverback hooks. Size in 3,5cm (1 1/2 inches) long, with sterling silver hooks they measure 5cm (2 inches) long.
Here's an international group of jewellery materials 😁 Yellow moonstone glass leaves and green "English cut" beads from Czechoslovakia, deep purple glass drops from Japan, vintage glass pearls and micro steel cut beads from France and crystal rhinestones from Austria.
Vintage "yellow moonstone" glass stones in leaf shape. The package itself doesn't have a manufacturer or country of origin. But inside there are two tissue paper wrappings that are falling apart due age. There are "Made in Czechoslovakia" stamped on the tissue paper along with amount 3 gross.

I seldom make hair barette clips and this sapphire blue set got one! This Rhinestone hair clip with filigree and pearls has beautifully sparkly crystals and measures 10x2cm (3 3/4 x 3/4 inches). Sapphire blue necklace with baroque pearls measures 40-45cm (15 3/4 - 17 3/4 inches) long.

Using the vintage stones I showed previously I made these earrings. Around the vintage glass stone is four new crystal rhinestones from Austria (Swarovski). Sapphire blue and pearl is so classic! I love those vintage glass baroque pearls from France!
It's amazing how vivid is the the blue color in vintage glass! So deep and tasty :P You can also see small glass pearls and tiny seed beads woven into the design. Sharing some photos of work in progress. Planning a pair of Sparkly Rhinestone Earrings with Bermuda Blue (Cz) color. Super pretty color that shifts from dark blue with a hint of purple to bright light (lagoon) blue.
I'm not a very organized person but I try. I'm keeping all the loose beads and rhinestones in trays and sort them by color. Blue is a special one because it has two trays. One for the sapphire blue shades and one for aqua.
These beads and rhinestones are sometimes leftovers from a project, or I have just taken them out, done nothing with them and too lazy to put them back... I find these trays very inspirational :D
Can't get enough of garnet red! Dark red star earrings with rhinestones in have round center stone with checkerboard faceting. The center stone is surrounded by tiny sparkly Swar. rhinestones. These small crystals are in "Garnet" color and placed in a way to create a star shaped frame!

Here's a selection of brooches in pink and purple color. Purple rhinestone brooch with rectangle center stone is one of a kind. It features an old rectangle glass cabochon that was once cast aside because it has a small nibble on the surface. Made in moonstone glass its stripes seem 3D and in beautiful purple color.
