Dark Red Pendant on Ribbon

Today we'll look more closely at one of the special pieces from mdmButiik shop. It's not very common to add ribbons in jewelry for me... This one is a pendant that comes with a ribbon but can be separated and worn with a chain or attach with a pin on a piece of clothing. This dark red pendant on ribbon has two parts both covered in sparkly rhinestones! 

I'm thinking it can be attached to a hairdo as well with a hair pin - imagine it sparkle! Dark red pendant can be worn around the neck like a collar to get that historical look but also on a long chain as well. This pendant has a contemporary ribbon in length that allows to wear it around the neck. We used vintage and new glass and crystal rhinestones in garnet red color.  Glass beads are vintage from Czechoslovakia!

Historical Style Purple Necklace

Today I'm taking a moment to remind a piece of jewelry made way back. This historical style purple necklace was definitely a challenge! Setting the tiny rhinestones from the smaller motifs was really painful but the antique shape of the vintage purple glass stones from Germany was eye soothing.

Historically inspired necklace was handmade from with vintage purple glass stones (Germany), Austrian (Swr) rhinestones and old glass pearls. Royal purple combined with sparkly rhinestones and classic pearls! Each purple glass stone is surrounded both by tiny vintage glass seed pearls and a frame from sparkly crystal glass rhinestones. Small motifs have sweet vintage Austrian crystal drops that dangle playfully.

Vintage Style Rhinestone Jewellery

Sometimes I just like to appreciate the sparkle that rhinestones bring! And the inspiration! Specially vintage rhinestones. There's something about the old packages and envelopes that shield the crystal glass... All the cuts and colors, many that are not made anymore.

Historically inspired Lucky Emerald NECKLACE

Historically inspired Lucky Emerald necklace with vintage green rhinestones and old glass pearls. Perfect for layering necklaces!

Selection of rich emerald colored stones, clear crystal glass stones in various shapes and sizes along with glass pearls make up an intricate design with a centerpiece made of three pieces. Crescent shaped upper part has an emerald green octagon in the middle, accompanied with sparkly rhinestones and pearls. Second part has a pointed hexagon in center with pearls and crystals arranged in symmetrical design. The last part is a vintage handmade glass bead that has a rich green color and baroque shape, topped with fancy cap adorned with rhinestones and pearls. Each rhinestone is attached into setting and then wired to the metal filigree.

Lucky Emerald necklace has three rows of vintage glass pearls that vary in shape just like they were natural. They have gorgeous lustre finish and show some signs of age. Box clasp is hidden under filigree plate that is covered with beads, pearls and rhinestones.

Pink Hydrangea and Pink Rhinestone Jewellery

 There something about colorful hydrangeas! And how their color vary 💗 From white pink to bright blue and all the colors between. I especially love the mixed color where all the shades - pink, blue and purple - are together! Here's a photo of pink hydrangea and pink rhinestone jewellery 🌸🌸🌸

Grey and Red Rhinestone Necklace in Vintage Style

This is the result of my work in progress. I think it is my first attempt to combine grey and red, can't really remember. This grey and red rhinestone necklace features a center motif with pearl cabochon in the middle and design spreading symmetrically glass pearls, beads and rhinestones. From the pendant hangs a big vintage glass pearl that has a bead cap adorned with rhinestones and pearls. Necklace has smaller plates that unite three beaded strands on both sides that will end in single strand to the clasp.

You can see the red pearls and old sew-on glass beads, with the smooth top red rhinestones. I'm still smitten about that baroque pearl drop! It's vintage and quite heavy and looking really spectacular - so bead cap with rhinestones and beads was not really in question! You can also see vintage red glass navettes and grey (Black Diamond) Swarovski baguettes - the thin rectangles on the pendant motif.
