Historical Style Purple Necklace

Today I'm taking a moment to remind a piece of jewelry made way back. This historical style purple necklace was definitely a challenge! Setting the tiny rhinestones from the smaller motifs was really painful but the antique shape of the vintage purple glass stones from Germany was eye soothing.

Historically inspired necklace was handmade from with vintage purple glass stones (Germany), Austrian (Swr) rhinestones and old glass pearls. Royal purple combined with sparkly rhinestones and classic pearls! Each purple glass stone is surrounded both by tiny vintage glass seed pearls and a frame from sparkly crystal glass rhinestones. Small motifs have sweet vintage Austrian crystal drops that dangle playfully.

Pink Rhinestone Necklace with Pearls

This antique style necklace handmade from vintage pink Swarovski ovals, sparkly clear rhinestones and old glass pearls. Each rhinestone is attached into setting and then wired to the metal filigree. This pink rhinestone necklace is short and designed to sit on the collarbone.

I wanted to create something utterly feminine and romantic. And bridal jewelry seems the best to use with that in mind. There are no rhinestones, no crystals... Only pearls and lots of them! Little silver lined seedbeads add a modest sparkle. Very fluffy, romantic and feminine.

Sweetest and delicate set of decorative hair comb and a hair pin! I made them from beaded wire branches and pearl circles with crystals. I love the way antique copper metal creates a contrast with pale pearls! Perfect for bridal occasions, why not a vintage style wedding?

 This set has same kind of hand wrapped "branches" from pearls and beads and circle motifs.

 In the center of pearl circle there is a Czech crystal rhinestone.

Hair clip or bobby pin is really easy to use!

Bright Yellow Jewelry

I use yellow very rarely in my jewelry. But when I do I pick out the best beads! :)

These are vintage handmade beads from Japan. These were made in 1940-50s. Beads are wound and have little cute dimples on the surface!

I made short and long necklaces and a pair of earrings. Beaded bead caps were very time consuming. Bright yellow and antique copper create a nice contrast.

Need käsitsivalmistatud helmed on pärit Jaapanist. Valmistatud 1940-50ndatel. Helmed on nn keeratud (ümber metall-varda) ja neil on armsad lohukesed!

Tegin pika ja lühikese kaelakee ning paari kõrvarõngaid. Kaunistatud pärlikübarad võtsid päris kaua aega. Helekollane ja antiikne vask loovad põneva kontrasti.

Shades of Grey...

Jewellery in shades of grey - two long necklaces, hair comb and a brooch. When I started with this jewellery I had less grey beads-pearls-rhinestones than I do at this moment. It means that I'll continue with the grey ones besides all other jewellery.

Hallides toonides ehted - kaks pikka kaelakeed, juukse kamm ja pross. Kui nende hallide ehetega alustasin, siis oli mul halli värvi helmeid-pärleid-kive vähem kui nüüd. See tähendab, et muude ehete kõrvalt tegelen hallidega edasi.
