Star Shine Brooch

Ega kui on ikka kiired ajad, siis on see ehtevalmistamise soov kohe eriti suur. Ja muidugi pole selleks ju aega ja minul ei õnnestu seda puhkamise arvelt ka võtta. Aga üks hetk tuli küll, kui avanes väike võimalus... Mingil imelikul kombel suutsin töökäigu kohe alguses paika panna ja nende prosside puhul ongi kõige olulisem see järjekord - mis detailid valmis teha ja mis hetkel see teistega ühendada.

See keskmine suur swarovski oli mu varudes tükk aega. Värviks on white opal star shine. Ega see mul tegelikult peas polnud, käisin just teisest toast vaatamad :) Väikesed ümmargused ehtekivid on samuti swarovskid (light sapphire ja crystal). Poolläbipaistvad klaasist navette kivid, 3mm roosakad klaaspärlid ja palju-palju roose. Aimu suurusest saab siin. Müüdud.

When times are busy then the urge to make jewellery grows stronger. And ofcourse there's absolutely no time for it and I'm not able to use my sleeping time for it either. But one moment came, and a little chance... In some strange way I was able to plan the whole thing from the start and this is the key with brooches like this - what detailes should be done before and when to attach these to the whole thing.

This big stone in the center is a swarovski that I had in my stash for a long time. The color is white opal star shine. Well, I didn't remember it by heart, I just looked it up :) Small rhinestones are also swarovskies (light sapphire and crystal). Opal glass navettes, 3mm pinkish glass pearls and a lot of roses. Turquoise Green Set

Proovisin ära selle Soft Flex traadi, millest eelmises postituses kirjutasin. Väääga rahul olen :) Ei murdu, paindub hästi, hoiab vormi ja jääb parajalt pehme.
Valmis sai komplekti, metallist roosidega. Klaaspärlid, -helmed ja mõned ehtekivid. Värvikombinatsioon on teile juba tuttav...

So I tried this Soft Flex wire that I wrote about before. I'm sooo happy :) Doesn't frail, is flexible, keeps its shape and drapes well.
I made a set, with metal roses. Glass pearls, beads and few rhinestones. Colour combination may be familiar to you...

Ausõna, mul pole kunagi varem pärlipidurite tange olnud. Üks põhjus oli see, et ma ei suutnud otsustada, millist suurust kasutada. Kui mäletate, siis lükkisin vahepeal klaaspärleid niidile, mis tegi pika peale näpuotstele valu. Niisiis otsin alternatiive, sest arvan, et see peenike seitsmekiuline terastross, mis mul juba on, pole lükkimiseks kõige parem (kange ja võib murduda). Tangid valisin need keskmised (tükk aega kahtlesin kas see või micro) ning pärlipidurite suurus on 1,2mm. Siinkohal suur aitäh Kairele :) kes aitas mul neid tange hankida! See terastrosside valik on ikka maailmatu lai ja ma arvan, et oleksin vist valima jäänudki. Seetõttu valisin enne margi ära ja siis hakkasin sealt valikust otsima. Valituks osutus Soft Flex Metallics Medium, vase värvi, 49teraskiuga, diameetriga 0,48mm. Vaatame, kas meeldib või mitte. Natuke hirm on kas jääb ikka piisavalt pehme...

Honestly, I've never had crimp pliers before. One of the reasons was that I just couldn't choose the size to use. I did try to string glasspearls on a sewing thread a while back and I put it many times to make it thicker, well it really started to hurt on the fingertips. So I'm looking for alternatives, because I really hope that there is something better than the thin (7strand) nylon coated wire I already have. I choose the medium pliers (long time I was between this or micro) and the size of crimp beads is 1,2mm. I want to say thanks to Kaire :) who helped me to get those pliers! The variety to choose from is so big when it comes to nylon coated steel wires and I think it was almost impossible. So I choose the brand first and then looked what suited the best from that assortment. I chose Soft Flex Metallics Medium, copper coloured, 49strands, 0,48mm in diameter. Lets see if I like it or not. I really really hope this drapes enough...

Pearls and Rose Ring

Viimasel on kuidagi nii raske postitusi kirjutada, alati on miskit paremat teha :) Näiteks oma ehtekivide pildistamine ja kataloogi tegemine :P Sest enam ei ole mul mingit ülevaadet, mis värvi, kuju või suurust mul juba olemas on. Võtan ennast nüüd kokku ja näitan ühte sõrmust. Esimene selletaoline proov.

I find it hard to write posts here lately, there's always something better to do :) Like photographing my rhinestones and making a cataloque from them, for example :P Because I really don't have any clue whatsoever what colour, shape or size I already have without a cataloque. Here is a ring. First attempt of this kind.

Seedbeaded Earrings

Kõrvarõngad, mida muutsin ja parandasin, ning millel pidevalt vahetasin klaaspärleid. Loodan, et see on lõplik versioon :)
Keskel on ehtekivike roosakate klaaspärlitega. Nende ümber tillukesed seemnehelmed.

Earrings that I had to remake and fix and every now and then change the glass pearls. I really hope this is the last version :)
In the middle there is a clear rhinestone with pinkish glass pearls. Around the center I put tiny seedbeads.
