Black and Mysterious...

Kindlasti on nii mõnelgi ehtemeistril olnud juhus, kus, alustades tööd nina ette kuhjatud materjalidest, puudub igasugune ettekujutus tulemusest. Nii oli sellel puhul ka. Pits, atlasspaelad, organza, mitmeid sorte kette, helmeid, sulgi... Ja nii kogu komplekt!
Materjalivalik julge, kuid värvilt pigem tagasihoidlik. Sellised ehted nõuavad kandjalt teatud isikupära ja suhtumist.
Kaelakee kinnitus asub ripatsi rõnga juures. Seda on võimalik kanda ka täiesti ilma ripatsita (siis on kinnise koht kukla taga). Samuti on ripatsi rõngalt võimalik ära võtta kõik muu peale suletuti. Paistab, et peaks tegema veel ühe postituse, kus näitan erinevaid kaelakee kandmise viise...
Käeketti tehes jätsin osad lindid ja ketid ära, et ehe liiga raskeks ei läheks. Ka kõrvarõngaste puhul oli raske otsustada, mida võtta, mida jätta. Komplekt on müüdud.

*I'm sure many jewelry makers have had moments when starting a project with randomly taken materials with no clue what's the result. In this case it was exactly so! Lace, ribbons, organza, different kind of beads, chains and feathers... The whole set!
Material variety is bold, but colors are modest. Who ever wears them need to have a certain character and attitude.
The clasp of the necklace is in the center of the piece where the ring of the pendants is. It is possible to wear the necklace without any pendants (then the clasp should be at the back of the neck). Also you can take two pendants off except the feather part. I guess I'll have to make another post about the different ways of wearing the necklace...
In the process of making the bracelet I had to leave out some ribbons and chains because otherwise it would become too heavy. The same thing was with the earrings. This set is sold.

Experiment

Eksperimenteerisin pisut värvidega :) Haarasin suvaliselt kolm eri värvi segu ja tegin teokarbi ripatsi! Tegin nagu varemgi sedasi , ainult lisasin äärtesse seemnehelmeid. Oli vahva teha!

*I was experimenting with colors :) I took randomly three different color bead mixes and made a pendant! I did this pendant as I've done before only added seedbeads. It was a fun project!

Valge vasega/White with copper

See kaelakee sündis puhtalt esimesest emotsioonist, kui nägin vasktraadirulli valgete helmeste kõrval. Tundus et sobivad täpselt! Ripatsi keskel on lame ovaalne helmes, veel kasutasin lihvitud helmeid ning seemnehelmeid. Väiksemad lillekesed on keeratud traadist ja 4mm lihvitud helmestest. Olen selliseid näinud Aasiast pärit raamatutes. Ma mõtlesin veel, et vaevalt ma midagi sellist kunagi teen. Need millegipärast ei meeldinud mulle. Aga nüüd arvan, et kasutan selliseid lilli ka tulevikus. Õhem traat sobiks neile paremini ka.

*Idea of this necklace came when I saw copper wire next to white beads. They seemed perfect for each other! In the center of the pendant is flat oval bead, there are also fire polished beads and seedbeads. Those little flowers are wrapped from wire and 4mm fire polished beads. I've seen something similar in books from Asian countries. Never thought I'll even try making them. I didn't like that kind of flowers at first, but now I think I'll use them again. Thinner wire would be better to use I think.

Must kulla ja roosaga/Black with gold and pink

Tere jälle! Tegu ühe tellimustööga. Agselt pidi kaelakee olema selline pikk lasso-taoline, kuid TOHO seemnehelmeste vähesuse ja juurde hankimise keerukuse tõttu sai tehtud teistsugune. Kaelakee on tehtud ndebele-tehnikas. Lisaks seemnehelmestele on seal veel roosasid ning kullakarva helmeid. Kinniseks on suurem helmes, tundus, et nii sobib paremini. Tulemas veel käekett ja kõrvarõngad.

*Hello again! This was first ment to be a lariat style necklace but since I didn't had enough TOHO seedbeads nor the time to order some more I had to make some rearrangements. Luckily the person to who it is made to was still interested when I showed the picture of a detail I showed you in the post before. Again it's ndebele. I used some pink and gold-tone beads. Clasp is simple with a bead, seemed perfect for this piece. There are bracelet and earrings yet to be done.

Vaheaeg/A break

Puhkan mõne aja nüüd arvutist ja lähen metsa! Tulen tagasi järgmine nädal. Paar projekti on mul pooleli. Vaja veel teha kaks pulmakomplekti, üks väike ideepojuke on, loodan veel, et tuleb mõni hea mõte. Aga siin üks salapilk ühele pooleliolevale tööle.

*I'm gonna take a little break from the computer and the net! I'll come back next week. There's a couple of bead projects unfinished. I need to make two sets for two brides. I'm in a lack of ideas, hopfully I'll have some in the near future. But here's a picture of something unfinished.
