Vintage Style Statement Necklace: Blue Princess

This is a tribute necklace for princess Eugenie of Greece and Denmark. Rhinestones are handset into prong settings and all components wired together.
Materials used:
*vintage Czech glass cabochons imitating lapis lazuli
*vintage Swarovski crystal rhinestones
*antique hollow glass beads with silver lining
*vintage small handmade glass beads imitating lapis lazuli
*vintage big French handmade glass beads imitating lapis lazuli
*new metal components and wire

Truly royal-looking necklace in vintage style!

This was the first finished version with a hidden box clasp.

This is the version that was final, with spring clasp and extender
chain that allows to change the lenght of the necklace.

My fingertips still remember the pain from setting all these rhinestones!

Valmis sai kaelakee, mille eeskujuks on Kreeka ja Taani printsess Eugenie kaelakee safiiride ja teemanditega. Ehtekivid on ükshaaval kinnitatud "pesadesse" ning kinnitatud traadiga.

Vintage Style Necklace In Making

Here are photos of the vintage style necklace coming together. I searched high and low for the right bow. Found one but it was only in one size. I needed two sizes to use with big and medium motif. So, I cut two bows in pieces and joined them together to create a bigger one :)

The big motif became a center pendant with extra rhinestones
and the bow I created from two bows.

It's quite huge don't you think?

Siin on pilte vintage stiilis kaelakee protsessist. Seda õiget metallist lipsu-komponenti otsisin õige mitmest kohast. Kui leidsin, siis oli seda saada ainult ühes suuruses. Aga mul oli vaja kahes suuruses, et kasutada suure ja keskmise motiivi juures. Niisiis võtsin kaks lipsu, lõikasin katki ja ühendasin üheks suuremaks :)

Vintage and Rare Beads

Sourcing vintage beads is difficult and gathering enough to make a piece of jewellery takes time. But hey, look at those details!

Vintage helmeste hankimine on keeruline ning piisava koguse kogumine võtab aega. Aga vaadake, kui peente detailidega need on!

Special Custom Order: Vintage Style Necklace

Materials for a custom order. This will be a tribute necklace in style of historical recreation. The aim is to be something similar to the sapphire and diamond necklace of princess Eugenie of Greece and Denmark.

Ofcourse I'm not using sapphires or diamonds :) Client chose vintage lapis lazuli imitation glass cabochons and the "diamonds" will be vintage Swarovski rhinestones.

Järgmise tellimustöö materjalid. Tegemist on nö "tribuut" kaelakeega ja eesmärgiks ajaloo taaskehastamine (uhked kleidid ja puha). Eeskujuks on Kreeka ja Taani printsess Eugenie kaelakee safiiride ja teemantidega. 

Loomulikult ei kasuta ma safiire ja teemanteid :) Klient valis välja lasuriidi imitatsioon klaaskivid ning "teemanditeks" on vintage Swarovski ehtekivid.

Romantic Jewellery Collection in Vintage Style

Here's the result of what I've been working on. It small collection but this time I payed a lot of attention to how the items can be combined with each other. So there are many possibilities for making sets. To suit many different preferences out there.

Materials used in this jewellery collection include: antique French pink "Prosser" beads, handmade blue beads, Czech glass pearls, light green faceted beads, vintage Swarovski crystal rhinestones and rectangular vintage glass buttons from Japan.

Most of the collection items are presented here:
statement necklace, simple chain necklace, long necklace,
bracelet, statement cuff bracelet, brooch, big earrings and
simple everyday earrings.

These big earrings have so many details! Handmade blue bead,
antique pink French beads, Czech glass pearls
and vintage Swarovski rhinestones.

Brooch has vintage glass button in the middle.

Bright colors accentuate feminine flair.

Antique pink Prosser beads adds a bit rough look
but are glossy as porcelain!

These earrings are intermediate between the big earrings
and everyday earrings. These will work when spending the night out
but also as everyday accessory.

Siin on minu pika töö tulemus. See kollektsioon on küll väiksem kui varasemad, kuid seekord panin eriti rõhku sellele, kuidas antud esemeid annab kokku sobitada komplektideks.  Nii, et oleks võimalikult palju variante erinevate ehtekandmise eelistusteks.
