Long Purple and Pearl Rhinestone Earrings

This is a second, updated version of Long purple and pearl rhinestone earrings, with same materials but slightly different work process. I remember when I got these vintage glass drops in deep purple, they were wrapped in tissue paper with "Made in Japan" labels still attached! 

Long earrings with pearls and purple glass give such a feminine vibe and come with sterling hooks. These long earrings are handmade from vintage and new rhinestones, pearls and beads. Very feminine style perfect for celebrating occasions! Main motif has old square shaped glass stone made in Czechoslovakia and a pair of new Swarovski purple crystals. All rhinestones and pearls are attached with thin wire. From the motif hangs old purple glass drop. These earrings come with sterling silver (925) ear hooks. Work in Progress

Here are some photos of the work progress with dark red jewelry components. Usually the process starts with choosing the colors and materials and then moves on to trying out different motifs and how they work together. Here are the main motifs that will be combined into jewelry.

Deep Dark Red

I haven't shared here the deep color components: beads, rhinestones and cabochons. I made jewelry with these that were inspired by antique Bohemian garnet jewelry. The materials here are not garnet but glass and crystal glass, new and vintage.

Old "English cut" glass beads from Czechoslovakia, Austrian and Czech crystal glass rhinestones... Inspiring isn't it? Photographing these is quite tricky, and the real color is a bit darker than on photos.
